Seasonally the medieval centre of Cochem is pedestrian zone during daytime. Nevertheless are our guests permitted to use the shortest and easiest-to-find-route to our hotel: use the „Moselpromenade” street (B49 along left hand side of river Mosel) up to house No 16a (Tea-Shop „Belmondo”). From here you pass the „Zollstraße” street (passing permit see below), cross the „Herrenstraße” street and enter the „Schloßstraße” street straight on upward. Follow the „Schloßstraße” street approximately 500 ft to reach the access to Villa Tummelchen on your right hand side. We recommend to drive in reverse, so it's easiest for you to proceed to your parking lot after unloading your luggage, check-in and receiving your park key. At check-in you'll get your key for the bollard on the way to your parking lot and we'll show you the way to there. It is located on the backside of our site, just a few steps walking distance.

Motorbikers: Please take notice of „Travelling by Motorbike” [↓]. If nevertheless using the route recommended for car drivers, follow the „Schloßstraße” street to the court of the school a few hundred feet above our entrance and turn there. It's more comfortable to enter our doorway coming from above and bikes will be placed in the garage at the frontside of our hotel.

Your GPS will guide you through streets which are seasonally pedestrianised and not allowed to use. Therefore please enter „Moselpromenade 16a” in 56812 Cochem as your destination address. There - at the Tea-Shop „Belmondo” - you enter the „Zollstraße” street which merges the „Schloßstraße” street after approximately 250 ft.
(Motorbikers: please take notice of „Travelling by Motorbike” [↓]).

For motorbikers the ride to our hotel is more comfortable if coming from above. Take the „Endertstraße” street (L98) and branch off into the „In der Faitsch” street, following the sign post „Oberstadt”. Go ahead via the streets „Stadtwaldstraße” - „Kelberger Straße” - „In der Märtschelt” - „Am Tummelchen”. Pass the barrier on your right hand side and follow the road until you can at the „Terrassen-Café” enter the „Schloßstraße” street, which you now take downwards to Villa Tummelchen.

Cochem is located at the railway line between Koblenz and Trier. All trains (ICE, InterCity, RegionalExpress and RegionalBahn) stop in Cochem. Very good connections, through trains from/to Berlin, Bonn, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Essen, Hannover, Cologne, Cologne Airport, Luxembourg, Münster, Norddeich, Saarbrücken and many more places. Contact your travel agent or book your railway ticket via www.bahn.de. At the main entrance of the railway station „Cochem(Mosel)” you'll find a taxi stand. Or you contact us betimes and we'll meet you at the station.

Nearby Cochem (25 miles) is the Airport Frankfurt-Hahn located, actually well known for it's low-fare-flight offers of Ryanair and other low-fare-aircarriers. Four major airports are also located within eligible distance: Cologne-Bonn (70 miles), Luxembourg (80 miles), Frankfurt (90 miles) and Düsseldorf (100 miles). Frankfurt-Hahn airport is connected with Cochem by shuttle [→ HahnShuttle]. From the major aiports you can travel comfortably by train or rental car.
